This guide shows you how to add your EnrolWeb business email account to Microsoft Outlook on Windows and Mac. Start with automatic setup; use the manual IMAP/SMTP settings if that fails.

Add your account automatically

1

Open Add Account

In Outlook, go to File > Add Account (Windows) or Tools > Accounts (Mac).
2

Enter your email

Type your full EnrolWeb email address and click Connect.
3

Enter your password

Enter your mailbox password when prompted, then click Continue.
4

Finish setup

Outlook detects settings and connects. Click Done and verify your inbox loads.
If auto-config fails, Outlook shows an error or asks you to enter details manually. Use the manual settings below.

Manual IMAP and SMTP setup

1

Choose manual setup

In the Add Account dialog, select Advanced options > Let me set up my account manually and choose IMAP.
2

Enter incoming (IMAP) server

  • Server: imap.enrolweb.com
  • Port: 993
  • Encryption: SSL/TLS
  • Username: your full email address
  • Password: your mailbox password
3

Enter outgoing (SMTP) server

  • Server: smtp.enrolweb.com
  • Port: 465
  • Encryption: SSL/TLS
  • Use the same username and password for authentication
4

Test and finish

Click Next. Outlook tests the connection. Send a test message to confirm both directions work.

Troubleshooting

Password prompt loop

  • Confirm you’re using your mailbox password, not your EnrolWeb account password.
  • Clear saved Outlook credentials in Windows Credential Manager or Mac Keychain, then restart Outlook.
  • If 2FA is enabled, generate and use an app-specific password.

Cannot connect to server

  • Check your internet connection and disable any VPN.
  • Verify server names and ports match the settings above.
  • Add Outlook to your firewall or antivirus allow list.

TLS or certificate errors

  • Use Outlook 2016 or later.
  • Confirm SSL/TLS is selected for both servers.
  • Update Windows or macOS security patches.
Still having trouble? Log in to webmail from a browser to confirm the mailbox itself works, then contact support@enrolweb.com.
